How ear candles work:
Ear candles create a slight pressure from below, and the vibration wave from the flame acts as a gentle massage of the eardrum. Waste products are lifted and carried by the smoke up into the ear candle's tube – a kind of chimney effect. The use of ear candles is a therapy with long traditions, used by Europeans, Native Americans, and Chinese alike.
Instructions for use:
Drip a couple of drops of ear oil into the ear a few minutes before treatment – this softens the earwax. Attach the protective disc to the ear candle and gently insert the thin end into the ear canal. Light the thick end. When the ear candle has burned down to the marked ring, remove it and extinguish it in a glass of water. Approximately 10 minutes per ear. It is recommended to treat both ears. You will need assistance from someone to perform the treatment.
