If there is chlorine in the water, it will disappear, which you can test yourself by using Vivatap in tap water when you are in countries where chlorine is used more than in Norway. In countries like Spain, England, and the USA, chlorine doses are so high that tap water both smells and tastes of chlorine. Chlorinated water is usually bacteria-free and clean, and thus safe to drink. However, chlorine is not good for the body and doesn't taste good either.
